He becomes a national hero, and discovers the plot to use him. Stolen jools: Norma Shearer's jewelry is stolen at a Hollywood party attended by the most famous stars of 1931, including Joan Crawford, Laurel and Hardy, Gabby Hayes, Buster Keaton, Maurice Chevalier, Irene Dunne, and many others.
